An Autumn's Tale

So right off the bat I decided to do a 4 to 5 track project.

I'd much rather call this a monologue, epic, and or epitome

It's the fall time finally (still unseemly in Georgia) and if theres any time that I like to allow my creative liquids to secrete it would be now.

To my mind right now I want to call it "An Autumn's Tale"

The reason being is because
Well, its Autumn and things are certainly going to start mmm. . "dieing".

So I want a tale of an Autumn that includes a young boy witnessing certain events.

Maybe the neighbors granddaughter comes to visit every time the leaves breathe their last breath...

Maybe the boy comes to his grandparents..

I'm circulating ideas though I wish I would have did this earlier.

Reason being is because it would have been nice to have a "Halloween" song for everyone to enjoy (which I wanted for the past 2 years)

Either way I give my self a fixed date of at least November 15th to get this done.

If it isn't complete by around November 5th then I'll cancel it.

However, I definitely want to do the same kind of project for Christmas.

Taylor Swifts "Back To December"

Of course I'm here giving you this. lol

This is thee' Ol' Swifter's new song. It's pretty nice so I think.

I've read the "low down" on the song, but the following words below are not my own.

"The second of Taylor Swift’s three promo singles to be added to iTunes ahead of her Speak Now album release (October 25) came today in the form of country-twang tearjerker “Back To December.” While last week’s offering (LP title track “Speak Now”) had the multiple Grammy winner longing for someone else’s man, “Back To December” is a song about letting a good relationship slip through your fingers and the regret that follows. Sniff! Grab a Kleenex and listen below.

“Your guard is up and I know why, because the last time you saw me is still burned in the back of your mind / You gave me roses, and I left them there to die,” Swift laments in her new tune.

Heavy stuff, and the wistful, slightly haunting instrumentation gives “Back To December” a dramatic (but still commercial) sheen. Love the bells and strings!

Brava, Taylor! After “Speak Now” and her late summer hit “Mine,” we were beginning to think the country-pop crooner was stuck in a rut with her sound and lyrical content. But “Back To December” is just the slight change in mature direction we were hoping Swift would aim for on her third album.

What do you think of this one?
Do you like “Back To December” or do you prefer your Taylor Swift songs upbeat?"

My Making Of The Grinch Theme.

(Original song for comparison)

Listen to my version down below

So its a Sunday and I was feeling the "Christmasy" spirit and the Grinch.

I ADORE the music production in The Grinch (Playstation)(PC)
I originally was going to do the theme music to the "Wholake" level.

However, I just decided to stick to the ol' goodies and do the intro music.

Most times I don't reveal my secrets, but for you techies out there I used;

Nexus VST
Purity VST
Kontakt Sampler
