God Of War (The breakdown)

The sound

I wanted a song with an "Epic" spirit to it.

It starts with a balance of "bells" and rolling cymbals climbing into a slow winding beat. Which is a mere simple reverb enhanced kick, and a "CLACK of a snare and a clap.

Then behind that comes suddenly, a group of brass blowing beneath a hard raw synthesizer.

All mixed in with some cinematic SFX enhancing your visual experience.

The Message

To be quite honest I'm not so sure the lyrics match the instrumental.

I wanted it to be. . "voluptuous" but also have a message.
The verses per-say don't truly attack like I wanted, but I believe the chorus is the near strong point.

Looking at this song from a certain point of view you can see it's message.

--"Warning, her body is a lonely mans paradise"

This womens (or mans) body is a desperate persons enjoyment.

--"Her powers can't be seen by the naked eye"

She carries a "power" inside her that can't be seen by bear eyes.

--"She's known to leave a strong man paralyzed, or terrorized."

This "power" can definitely leave a man (or women) whom thinks they are healthy, powerful, paralyzed, dead and terrorized to unimaginable heights.

--"Warning, I know you got a sex drive that can't be slowed, she's known to leave a strong mans body cold"

Your sex drive is undoubtedly something no one can slow at the moment, but mind you she/he can leave your body cold (Dead)

--"Better not get caught in her undertow, man let her go"

Don't get caught in this trap, the seduction, the imagery, and whats best is to let them go before you are hurt.

You may interpret this song in different ways.

One may be a warning to stay away from those "infected" with disease. Knowing the teenage population (or human population for that matter) is obsessed with sex, and forgetting that AIDs and HIV is STILL relevant and out there. It hasn't just disappeared off the face of the earth.

Another way to view it may be, this person is just trouble all together. The voice giving you the "warning" is a sub-conscious telling you that "Sex" will trap you in a "Bad romance" with this person.

Since I'm a very visual person I definitely imagined scenes of this song.

"God Of War" in my eyes showed a "Jungle, Aztec, Mayan" outlook. With a shaman telling the young warriors star-studded by the "beautiful" queen of village, to know about her powers unseen to the naked eye.

Showing glimpses of her seducing her men, and killing them quite suddenly afterwards.

Trust me. . when I think "Music videos" I think "Feature Film", and it most definitely wouldn't be your average 4:00 music video.

Who want's to party tonight?! Newish instrumental

"Party Savior"

Truthfully, I'm not sure where I get these names.

Fact: majority of the times I make 5 names for a song before deciding on the final.

"Party Savior" isn't really what I truly have in mind but it stays for now.

This instrumental was meant to be fun. Supposedly a follow up to "Swallow" but it has more work to do as you see.

Heavy synths, with an opera singer auto-tuned in the chorus.

The drums are super super hard and I may change that.

sPadey KILLER (LMAO)

Life for me is quite weird.

I mean I don't live in physically bad condition, but mentally and emotionally I'm pretty "Weird".

I was always the "emotional" one out of the bunch. I don't know I grew up around women SORRY!

Back in 2008 I went through some tough times with deaths, relationship (I guess you can call them), etc.

Truthfully, I was pretty depressing and I think I still am a bit to this day. However, nowadays I'm like the king of wanting to help people and their issues. Even though I'm a suckering depressing animal myself (lol)

Heres a song of uncertainty. I scared some people with this one titled,

"Bleeding Blood"

I have a new song in the making titled "The Killers Story" which is some sense is quite angry.

It's probably the angriest song I've done since "Bleeding Blood". However, I don't have the vocals done just yet so I'm going to be posting the instrumental to you all.

It took about a few hours to construct the instrumental.
From a fiery raging organ throughout the song. To a mellow but raunchy piano in the chorus, and daring piano chords creeping in the verses.

The drum track is pretty hyper as well with a nice bass-line ripping in the background.
